Tara’s passion for floral design has been a life-long pursuit. Identifying her affinity for flowers and design at a young age she began her career in high school horticulture club, joining an internship andparticipting in regional floral design competitions. Following college, where her focus was horticulture and entrepreneurship, Tara studied and interned at the world-renowned McQueens Flower School London. After spending a few years working at boutique flower shops and event companies, Tara discovered that Chicago had a need for sculptural, modern, art-driven floral design that was not being met, thus; taxaflora.
