Tara’s passion for floral design has been a life-long pursuit. Identifying her affinity for flowers and design at a young age she began her career in high school horticulture club, joining an internship andparticipting in regional floral design competitions. Following college, where her focus was horticulture and entrepreneurship, Tara studied and interned at the world-renowned McQueens Flower School London. After returning home to Chicago, Tara spent years working at boutique flower shops and large event companies only to discover a desperate need for modern art- focused floral design that was not being met, thus; taxaflora.
